An incredible theatrical impresario

He was responsible for the creation

of the NY Roxy Theater which was to

be the start of a chain but wasn't

He hired Russell Markert's "Rockets"

girls precision dance troupe which

became know as the "Roxyettes" at

the Roxy before he brought them to

the new Radio City Music Hall which

was part of Rockefeller Center to

become the world famous "Rockettes"
