Leslie Zemeckis, who now has MABEL, MABEL, TIGER TRAINER on the film festival circuit, also wrote, produced and directed BOUND BY FLESH, the award-winning documentary on Daisy and Violet Hilton. This telling reveals the great successes the women enjoyed, and the harrowing decline and ultimate sorrows they suffered as their audience drifted away, and their last manager stole their final payday, leaving them stranded and destitute. Broadway fans saw their story under the misleading and inappropriate title SIDE SHOW, which misdirected the public from the biography intended.
