There are trailers running for a new movie, "The Zookeeper's Wife". Not circus, but lots of animals. Set in the '40's during WWII, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed there seems to be shots of several white lions, which of course were not in any zoos anywhere for many decades in the future. Am I seeing things, or is this just a movie flub they figured no one would notice?

The Philadelphia Zoo had some back about 1994. I don't think they did back in the '40's though.

I have a mint copy of this GSOE booklet DeMille and Paramount offered for the road show release of the picture.
