Bobby Yerkes (on left) still
has a training facility in
Northridge California & has
trained many stunt & circus
performers over many years
Bobby Yerkes, Dorothy Yerkes, Rosie and Fay Alexander. The photo can be dated as 1957, as the bandage on Fay's shoulder covers the vaccination required for all performers to go into Mexico for Ringling post-season dates. The vaccination caused a harsh reaction resulting in swelling that had to be covered with a raised plastic bubble taped in place.
When we were at Parley Baer's home, caring for him after his first stroke, Dorothy Yerkes was one of his most welcome and delightful visitors. May she Rest in Peace.
