I still can't believe he is gone and I am so very sad. He was a beautiful human being. God rest his soul.

A young beautiful person loved by all who knew him "Johnny Welde." The loving husband of "Monica Welde." He left a beautiful family daughters, son & grandchild. A man that could build any thing he set his mind to. He built a fantastic elephant ride platform for us, light weight. You could roll it out and set it up in minutes. He built all of his semi trucks for the Bears with their living quarters in them, with expandos and all the modern things that you could ask for. Really too many things for me to properly list. He had more talent in his little finger than the average person has in their whole body. I never heard a bad word about Johnny, ever. As I understand it he went quick. I watched him grow from a baby to a talented fantastic Bear trainer and wonderful man. He will be missed by all....Barbara.....

Beautifully said Barbara, beautifully, and you folks and Diane and I saw a lot of Johnny's fantastic building work in progress and during those grand summers at the Catskill Game Farm. Time Oh time . . .

Condolences to Monica and all of Johnny's family. I knew them when Monica joined out on the Beatty show for the 1980 Winter Tour. They hit it off at once and were married not long after. Rest in Peace, Johnny. You will always be Center Ring.
