 In San Francisco the building was overcrowded causing one Newspaper to write "James Bros. Circus has come and gone.....the Biggest Gyp since Jessie and Frank! He decided to change the title and I suggested James Matthews Circus after his two sons and he did. |

When I saw it in Houston,Tx it was Gorge Matthews Great London Circus and I met Sid for eh first time and he was just great to me and Tex Dreyfus, Houstons number one circus fan.
We both got the vip treatment and it was a good show.
I was taking 16mm movies then and got the whole show on film.
The circus was at a great location and Sid talked his way into a ritzy motel that was like 30 stories high and we got in a room out on the balcony and I got good wide shot of the whole show from way up.
The next town was Nederland, Tx between Beaumont and Port Arthur and I got arrows from Sid and arrowed them to the next lot.
