When Mr. Heston appeared at the Show in LA, the announcer said "Welcome back to the Greatest Show On Earth!"

Heston was known for being courteous, accessible, and patient with his fans. So much so, that Republican candidates, running for whatever office, called upon his star power to draw crowds for their campaign appearances. When he could schedule in, he indeed proved an asset for packing an event and making a hit with supporters, whether or not his candidate achieved the office.
