#2 More Polack

From Buckles
"Mary", "Jean", "Millie", "Betty", "Kathy" and "Opal".
Mack was the Master, took a little doing for him to teach me how to hustle these guys around the ring.

One of the funnest, most enjoyable act's I ever presented was the baby act consisting of Tina, Siam, and Ronnie that Mac trained for Hawthorn. Half elephant act, half horse act. The did a piece of business where they switched leads, back to front, back to front, etc. until Tina was back in the lead, then they came into three's, did a wheel, then waltzed in three's, finishing by running across the middle and jumping on the ring for a trunk/foot salute. Actually worked it with a 6 foot lunge whip with a small hook screwed into the handle. Push button smooth. I regret I only got to speak with Mac for about 15 min. the night Mac and Toto ran away(not really because they were always in sight) on the Texas dates(Dallas maybe) He had a broken arm, and Peggy said, "This is going to be it for us. We are both too old..... What would the animal training world give for a video of Mac putting his many act's together.

I do have a tape made at Thousand Oaks. Also has the unloading. Made several copies of that with some home videos taken by fans, and the Sullivan performances. Sent them to members of the family. My son got me a DVD recorder, but I'm not as adept as I used to be, and he's not around. Do you think I could rich?????

I even made a short copy to be shown at Peggy's Chemo appointment after she had talked a lot about her life. "Medication" will do that sometimes you know. Then they don't know whether or not to call for a doctor or "security".
