What a staggering accomplishment. I hope the onlookers fully appreciated this as possibly their once-in-a-lifetime moment with the 40-up. My animal man's mind also fully respects the immense care given to each horse, and for the personnel who provided it. Further thought goes to the team's quarters, supplies, tack and equipment, and veterinary medical support. What an undertaking for Jake Posey, who accomplished this on full tours, on through the era of Dick Sparrow.
