Years ago John Herriott sold a horse to the Ringling Show and I accompanied him down to Venice to make the delivery. After dropping him off with Gunther we went inside the Arena to watch rehearsal, careful to pick seats up in the top row but after a short while Barstow stopped everything and over the microphone shrieked, "If you two Gentlemen up there can't be quite while we're working, you'll have to leave!" which we did. Long after that when Mr. Feld decided to move our Circus World elephants over to the Blue Show I forewarned my wife, "This Old Queen that puts the show together is pretty touchy! But in no time she and Barstow were in a lovefest then suddenly one morning we were informed that he had been fired and his assistants Jerry Friese and Bob Harrison would take over. This Show Biz is All Right! I think Bobby Johnson put it best when he said, "This should be called "The Star Wars Unit!". |

It was Bill Bradley & Jerry Fries
titled Stagers & Choreographers
The title of Director disappeared
Bob Harrison was Charly's assistant
In the Barstow era, UPenn's Mask & Wig Club hired a former RBBB choreographer named Chet Toliver. Good guy. Anybody remember him?
Nope Bob but another assistant
to Dick was Crandall Diehl
