I believe this is Gloria Graham. She did work the bulls in the center ring and later in the act did the lying her face under the elephants foot, very cleverly done with a look like real leg and foot that worked from a crank. Gloria was closest to me during the film, always arm in arm I was just 23 years old at the time. Jackie LeClaire

Gloria was at the top of her career. She won Best Supporting Actress that Oscar year for THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, as the ditzy wife of Dick Powell. In a rather colorful Hollywood twist, in these years, she divorced her husband, Director Nicholas Ray, and married his son. Thus, her former husband became her father-in-law, and her former son-in-law became her husband.
