To Chic


It was a TV Series about the adventures of two truck drivers.
Keenan Wynn played a hobo who somehow crawled up into their truck hauling "Anna May".
This is the Director Leo Penn.

CHIC, OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SEEN THESE PHOTOS, YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE TO PICK UP ON THE CHAIR BIT. THE FIRST DAY ON THE SET IT WAS EXPLAINED ABOUT THE CHAIRS. I WAS OKAY WITH THAT. RULES ARE RULES. THEN AFTER "ANNA MAY" WORKED THE FIRST SCENE, EVERY ONE, I MEAN EVERY ONE, OFFERED US THIER CHAIR. THEN THE THIRD DAY I HAD MY OWN CHAIR MARKED "GUEST STAR" JUST LIKE "KEENAN WYNN." BOY I SURE LIKED THAT. YOU KNOW THEY WANTED TO MAKE A SPIN OFF OF "MOVING ON" WITH US. ALL OF US. BEN, SHANNON, KEENAN WYNN, ANNA MAY," & MYSELF. I DIDN'T WANT TO WORK IN FRONT OF THE CAMERAS. JUST WOEK "ANNA MAY." BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT THAT. I FEEL SURE THAT I HAVE TOLD YOU THIS STORY BEFORE. BUCKLES SAID I HAD GONE "HOLLYWOOD." I ASK THEM HOW MUCH TIME AND HOW MUCH MONEY? THEY SAID THAT THE WAY SHE WORKED THAT IT WOULD TAKE SIX MONTHS TO DO A TWO HOUR MOVIE AND GET 12 FILM IN THE CANS. AND THAT WOULD MEAN ONE MILLION DOLLARS FOR OUR PART, EVEN IF THEY DIDN'T PICK IT UP. WHICH THEY WERE SURE THAT THEY WOULD PICK IT UP. SOOOO...I LOVE MY HUSBAND "ONE MILLION DOLLARS" WORTH.....Barbara..... But it sure was a blast doing that show. The Producers were the ones that did "Bullet" & "French Connection." Philip D'Antoni was the producer. Wiese was his partner. Boy Chic there was much more to the "Moving On" story.....Barbara.....
