It probably was never used for anything other then a movie prop, but I have always wondered where it went. Would sure love it just to hang on the wall.

As I recently noted to Dave Price, in regard to movie props, Charlton Heston asked Paramount for the pole he used to part the Red Sea, and it went home with him. So yes, some very prized items can depart the studio gates, hopefully by authorized consent. But often, in black market auctions, genuine props and wardrobe are available to the highest bidder through theft.; 25 October, 2015 18:18
