Frenchman Robert Baudy at his 'Savage Kingdom' in Central Florida. He once took me into his house and showed me a collection of swords and knives that covered an entire living room wall. His chairs and sofa were of course covered with cat skins.
I saw his huge cage that was big enough to enclose a 12 foot, leafless tree. He threw strips of meat up into the branches and then all at one time let loose about 7 or 8 leopards. A sight one won't forget, all those cats scrambling up that tree after the meat.

All of the leopards in that enclosure were "trained" to respect the low-volt current running through the lower portion of that leopard compound. I recall a "story" of a Canadian group visiting to see how the compound was built and to see it in operation. The "story" continues that the group built an exact replica and released 6 leopards into the compound, without the "respect" training. Herding cats is one thing. Herding leopards.....???

P.S. Does anyone have any recent information on Robert Baudy?
