Harry's comment about the Ektachrome film explains the green color of the seat wagons and flatcars. I used a lot of Ektachrome slide film and now I wish I had used only Kodachrome.

Bob,
I am still crying cause Kodak stopped making Kodachrome and used it all the time before Kodak would not give DeWaynes photo the chemicals to process it, the last Kodachrome lab in the world.
Kodachrome never fades and been around since 1935.
Ektachrome though the years turns blue as a goose and no good.
When Ektachrome is green the p h of the developing chemicals are out of wack..
Now Eastman color movie film in the 1960;s prints turn red and that means it is fading out due to age and processing.

Harry, Kodak has quickly gone downhill from the company that it once was. From what I understand they developed the digital technology but did not pursue that part of the business. I remember seeing the notification about DeWaynes processing the last Kodachrome slide films. People rushed to get their film to DeWaynes lab before the deadline. Fujicolor has a slide film that is similar to the Kodachrome but it does not have the history to see how it ages.

Bob,
Yes sir you are right about Kodak and what it was and I bet George Eastman would turn over in his grave about what it is now.
I used Dewaynes and we were in Kansas and stopped by and they gave us a tour and I got to see the last Koadachrome processor running in the world and it was over 20 feet long and half in the darkroom and half in the light.
Yes they got slammed at the last and one guy from Arkansas bought 1500 rolls to get processed.
They went way over the time they said they would close it down.
I saw a pallet with the chemicals for Kodachrome with thousands of dollars worth on it.
I was shooting Kodachrome film I had bought in the 80's for 20cents a roll and still good and looked like I had just bought it.
I had tears when they took my Kodachrome away from me.
