My 16mm reel of European circus footage contains some
scenes showing an unidentified high wire act performing a 6-person pyramid. This is the type of act the Wallendas were
noted for. Can anyone confirm if, in
fact, these are the Wallendas performing?

I don't believe they ever constructed their pyramid with six people--that is, only three on the wire instead of four. And I am not sure that they ever returned to Europe after the war and are you believe it was after the war that they developed the seven man pyramid (1947?).
For those who haven't heard yet
Jenny Wallenda died Friday night
in her sleep at home at 87
Her viewing will be tomorrow
(Tuesday) evening & the memorial
service will be on Wednesday
morning both at Toale Brothers
on Orange Avenue in Sarasota
Some news accounts show her death
to have occured on Saturday night
but we heard through our "Bronx
Home News" on Saturday morning &
her nephew Ricky confirmed that
it was late overnight Friday
On Circopedia there's a similar type pyramid under the Bob Gerry Troupe. Anyone familiar with the act?
Interesting to find the 4 Prop boys down there manning the sway guys.
This is the Bob Gerry Troupe at Festival Mundial del Circo in Barcelona (Spain) in 1956.
