Bob Cline said...: The Show originated as the Otto Floto Dog and Pony show in 1902. When the Great Floto Shows title comes into being is uncertain as there is a mention in 1902 but most advertising and the route book of 1905 use the Great Floto moniker.

The title of Sells-Floto begins in 1906 when Willie Sells was hired as the show manager.
