Unidentified #1



From the sticker in picture #1 I would assume these are all RBBB pix and I would suggest this is the cook house in the late 1930's.
Does anyone know the N0.s of the cook house wagons?

Would guess these are #38 and #39 big top stake and chain wagons. Notice the drinking water barrels set up next to them.

Closed type gooseneck on wagon pole started in 1939 after draft horses removed from show. Open goose necks were hard to pull with the Mack trucks and they used springs on the pull chains to keep them tight. With the closed goose neck, you didn't have that problem. Still have wooden wheels on wagons, but no trees mounted on wagons so would also think 1939 or 1940.
