Christmas Train Layout #7


One of the most colorful of Marx’s lithographed engines was this replica of a Fairbanks-Morse Diesel with the Kansas City Southern paint scheme. (One of Marx’s factories was located in Erie, Pennsylvania where the Fairbanks-Morse plant was located.)

Great set of pics Eric, brought back a lot of good memories, including ones of my Great Uncle Carl who worked for many years on the NY Central. I think the 20th Century Ltd. was my favorite train of all.

Paul: My fave was The DeWitt Clinton, but I was much younger then.
