Don said...: Rose Gould was born in Austria. The stage name Rose Gold may have been suggested as more marketable when she came to the US just after WW II. Newspaper clippings in her scrapbook use the name Rose Gold and the Rose Gold Trio much more than Rose Gould. There are even clippings in Spanish using the name Rosa Gold.
