I never saw any flat with rings,etc. to hold down wagons.
Had the pleasure of riding the circus train back to Baraboo after the Milwaukee parade one year.
Can't for the life of me remember what brought this about but half way there word came that one of the wagons had broken loose and fallen down between the flats cars.
I had the pleasure of watching Col. Herriott and his crew frog it back into position with less than an hour's time lost.
