The 15 menage elephants stood on the long side at left (I can't remember why "Putsie" was left behind this day), the three Graham Chipperfield elephants "Camelot", Mena" and "Letchme" are barely seen in the background at right, stabled in the pen were "Alana" and "Icky" with their calves "Romeo" and "Juliet" and completing the short side was Patti Zerbini's elephant "Luke" for a total of 23.
Twenty four when "King Tusk" was on the lot.

Graham Chipperfield told me in 1995 that Romeo's real name was Ted after Ted Svertsky. By which name was he generally called?
Ted Svertesky was only 39 when
he was killed in that January
of 94 Blue Show train wreck
