Dan Rice Circus #1

Throughout my youth I was never interested in any circus other then the one I was on.
All that changed when I started working around elephants and became curious about their background, unfortunately I remain ignorant of a lot of good shows that never owned one.
This is a good example.

This is just one of the many titles that was used by Ray Marsh Brydon. Fred Pfening, Jr. covered these shows and Brydon's career in the July / August 1983 issue of Bandwagon in an article he titled "Flamboyant Showman and his Six Title Circus."

I assume that the Dan Rice name was probably "eminent Domain" Recall Rbbb and Montie Montana jr. over his use of Buffalo Bill title Seems like there is a Statuate of limitations and after that the name becomes of use by anyone. Dick Garden has certainly used popular American names-titles in many of his efforts and seems not to be affected. Thanks to Bob Cline and author on my comment about Brydon and Dan Rice Circus. I feel vindicated in that my memory did not let me down. And now back to "donicker bros, that grand old show".johnny
