I believe that Grauman's Chinese

Theater dates back to the 1920s

Somewhere along the line it was

renamed Mann's Chinese Theater

Now what the hell is TCL

TCL Chinese Theatre?

It'll always be Graumann's to me.

But good for MGM and "Leo"

Sid Grauman opened the 1200 seat

"Chinese Theater" in 1927 as a

lavish movie palace with the

Cecil B DeMille "King Of Kings"

Mary Pickford & Douglas Fairbanks

were partners with Sid Grauman

It became Mann's in 73 & now is

TCL since January of 2013 (shame)

In late 2013 the theater became

the largest IMAX facility in the

world with steep inclined seats

now holding only 932 (also shame)

TCL is a Chinese electronics firm and a very big one.

Chic: I second your "shames".

We, the general populace, will forever be under the stigma that,
"You don't know what you've got until it's gone."
