For those of you who can remember when circus music really was circus music, I will list the selections that were heard during this broadcast. Beginning with Trevor Bale’s tigers, the music played was “March to Mecca,” “Jungle Queen,” “In the Sudan,” “Caravan Club” and “The Big Cage Galop.”
Trevor told me the lion's name was Tonoto and he was 25 years old at the time. I was taking photos of the act and had lion drool all over my camera as Trevor had positioned me where everytime the cat shook his head I got hit. Tonto was, in fact, a seat warmer.

I would have to guess that 25 years old or a lion is some sort of a record for longevity.
