New Book!

Recently received this message from Paul Binder.....

.....in the newest edition of my book, Never Quote the Weather to a Sea Lion (and other uncommon tales from the founder of the Big Apple Circus) I finally realized that I had made a mistake in the photo caption of you with a snacking elephant. I was accurate in identifying the trainer, but the pachyderm is Amy. Thankfully Don Covington, who says he was very fortunate to have his camera that day, emailed me with the correction. Great photo, Don and thanks for your patience, Buckles, and all those wonderful years that you gave us at the Big Apple Circus. Thanks also to Amy, who never liked leaving a snack in the barn, so she brought it along with her.

Every year Paul Newman would sponsor a performance for his "Hole In the Wall Kids" a charitable organization.
Here we see him being made up for his appearance while Paul and Mr. Stubbs look on.

I neglected to mention that the applicant is the inimitable Jeff Gordon.

is now being run by a daughter that

sells salad dressing donates all of

the profits to that charity

The (real) diner on the Amtrak over

the road trains serves his dressing

Newman's Own also teams with the Fisher House Foundation and Military Times newspapers to award grants to organizations that enhance military quality of life

The Fisher House Foundation constructs comfort homes near military and VA hospitals to provide affordable lodging for families of loved ones undergoing major medical treatment. In 2008, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey proclaimed the Foundation a "Lifetime Circus Celebrity."
