Hunt's Circus #10

To provide income during many of the years it wintered in Baltimore, Charles, Sr., took out a winter circus of some size playing sponsored dates. Andrew Downie who wintered his shows in nearby Havre de Grace, Maryland, when Hunt first moved to Maryland from New York state, also did the same. This delightful poster is from the Howard Tibbals collection now at the Ringling museum in Sarasota.
