that would jingle through streets

in residential neihborhoods as a kid

Chic: Just had an expert come in and set me up with a new way to comment, hence prior non message.

Now, yes, I too was going to mention GH and BB. They were a part of my growing up in the Bronx.
As I recall we only had GH in NJ and it was all downhill from there.

Hunt was well-known for having an ice cream concession, unusual if not unique for a circus.
And Bob, in the very early 1930s the Dixie lids featured circus scenes.
For me, I'll go with Mike Naughton to a Friendly's store for a frappe! Friendly's stores pretty much covered the same territory that Hunt played.
