Look at the right side of this photo...you don't see acts of this caliber any more. Wonderful!
God bless the Antaleks and all Show Folks who worked so hard to give us the highest quality of years gone by.

You bet, Paul! Even looks like the pole is balanced on his forehead which always indicated a better perch pole act.

I believe that Pablo Martinez did

a forehead perchpole routine with

both Chatta & another girl on it

Very tall pole I recall

We had Brian Fawcett with a forehead

mounted bamboo pole for a chimp to

do the acrobatics on for our tour

of the Monte Carlo Show but also had

my VERY favorite pole on pole perch

act of Zvdrako Dobritch which was

absolutely astonishing as he climbed

a mounted pole with a forehead mount

His finish trick included a bicycle

revolve ring topping the pole

Dobritch worked to magnificent music

that may have been written for him

If anyone has a copy of it I would

happily trade good stuff for a copy

Oh I forgot the new PC terminology

Sorry I meant his finish behavior

Coleman, a very husky muscular brother was the understander. Brother Joe did the foot balancing part of the act. In later years he was the outdoor rep for the agva union. Coleman's son was Mickey of chimp and dog act fame. His mother had first started the dog act, called I believe, "Lonas canines." I believe Coleman died unexpectadly fom heart trouble. A grat act to be sure. A sister married one of the Polack hot shot phone promoters.
