I recall Col. Thomas' announcement as tho it were yesterday.
"A triple somersalt from the teeter-board to the high chair accomplished by that dynamic bit of charming femininity......Miss Ortans Cristiani!"

Yes Buckles. I too vividley recall that great Harry Thomas Announcement among other great ones as well that I would copy in later years as an announcer. The four how as seen was, Davisio as understander [not a very big man], Next would be Mogador [later kinown as Paul] and cdatching his sister Ortans is the great Lucio. I recall as the act entered the ring Ortans would do a one hand stand on brother Belmomtes head and he would walk around the ring. Pretty good opening trick. This was the Cristianis second act, so to speak, johnny

Wish we could be in Sarasota on Oct. 5 for the Woodcock tribute (I would like to introduce my Barbara to Ms. Barbara), but we won't be able to make it. But, we will be at the Ringling Museum next Friday to see Ms. Barbara, Anna Mae, Buckles and the Herriott's costumes. We're hoping that our 1st grandchild will arrive while we're in the greater Ellenton-Parrish metro area.
