Cautiously making their way to the cave’s entrance, Joan and the lion discover Slade, Redmond and LaBat stealthily closing in on their hiding place.

If this was a modern-day film, most people would assume that the lion had been generated inside a computer and that no risk was involved during filming. At least in old movies (even low budget serials) scenes like this remain exciting because we know that the lion is real.
