Without the stories why bother
What time is this silly soiree
Hope it's NOT TOO EARLY
Jim's picking me up around 8:00.
The stories are generally much more
fun than the historical truth
They remind me of an ancient show
titled "Can You Top This"
Why to you think Barnum was such a great success. I belive Barnums spirit lives on in most of the TV Info-mertials that end with "CALL NOW"
You'r right about Barnum, Jackie. He was the father of modern marketing. The catch phrases such as, "held over by popular demand", "for one week only", "when it's gone, it's gone" were all in his bag of trick. Today's marketers may not realize it but they are still following P.T.'s lead.

I took that photo in the Blue pie car when the show was here in Atlanta with the two baby elephants as the big attraction.
Quite a crowd this morning & it was
very nice to attach faces to names
Loved the tale of the free elephants
I hadn't seen Tito in many years
