This must have been the King Bros version of Cole Bros that busted in 1930. That cut at the top goes way back and the guy on the left was Martin Downs.

Chic: Every show Floyd King ever had was on its 42nd or 85th or 99th annual tour.

If he had three elephants he advertised it as three herds of elephants. You could spot his newspaper ads as they always listed the numbers: 1,500 performers, 750 animals, $6,000,000 invested.

They only made one of him. There have been several short sketches of his life but unfortunately no complete bio.
