In 1958 I was on Page Combined Shows, in the Carolina'a with a Scrambler ride. They arrowed the show,as shown in this pix. They used white chalk and the letters MP, mwhich stood for Mighty Page, but were very useful when approched by the local police, as they said the letters stood for Military Police. TRUE STORY!

If that was a ground up version the
center was heavy as hell but it was
extremely stable once the mudsills
were attached as you know Jim
I was a carny electrician a brief
time with Reithoffer but I learned
many of the then titled major rides
As I recall the Scrambler may have
been the only ride by Eli Bridge
that wasn't a wheel (is that so)
A ride I tried to stay away from
was the Sellner "Tilt A Whirl" a
real mean & heavy assembly
That was in 59-60 just before I met
up with my life's real callings
