According to the photo caption, the set of horns on which Charlie played “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” was made of the finest quality brass, using a design that was a Tiebor family secret. According to Captain Tiebor, Charlie played it faster and better than any other seal. Incidentally, Charlie used his nose to play the horns rather than his lips.
