I was a dancer and original cast member of the show at Circus World in 1976. I married Linda Lively in June 1977, she was also a dancer (76 thru 84). Linda also did the elephant act with Roman & Jean when they came. I subed for Kenny McDowell as "Clown Angel" and for Bill Lang when he took over after Kenny. I got your email address from Gary Hill (I email back and forth with him a lot). I asked him if he could ask you about a certain photo and he said why don't you just as Buckles yourself. I have 2 questions: 1) do you happen to have a photo of when you left CW for the Blue Unit and Axel came? I was in the parking lot and the amount of elephants in one location was probably one of the best sights I had ever seen at CW. If I'm not mistaken you had them do a long mount. Question 2) on Friday August 17, 2012 you posted photos of the show and had the name Bob Tomer at the top. Do you or Bob have many photos like the ones you posted? I have a few black & white 8x10 glossy and just wondered if they were the publicity pics? Thank you again for all you have done and please say hello to Barbara for us. Ed & Linda Leffler From Buckles: I remember the day we left very well, we did indeed have both herds do long mounts heading into each other at the conclusion of which we headed on down Hwy. 27 and never looked back. There should be plenty of pictures of that event but I have never seen one. Mr. Tomer passed away many years ago but here are some additional pictures he took plus a few more I've tossed in for good measure including the one above.
