Back in the 1930s, no movie program would have been complete without a newsreel or short subject that featured some unusal animal story. Thanks to his many contacts within the newsreel business, Eugene Castle had access to this animal footage and incorporated it into his Castle Films releases to the home movie market. The following frame enlargements are all from a 1937 Castle release titled SEE No. 1, which was intended as a sort of cinematic version of LOOK MAGAZINE. |
