From Jerry Digney #2

from RBBB 1965 press folio, in the style of RAY Dirgo. NY-based BILL DOLL + CO. would have been handling the national PR for RBBB at this point--the Solters outfit (my late biz partner) took over in 1967 and Jack Ryan worked for him, heading up the account with a natural flair and talent for some 5 years.

Chrys's father who went by the name

Bert Holt (Bertholt was the family

name) did an iron jaw juggling act

in suspension in ring 1 while Chrys

was in ring 2 (can't remember 3)

The Family owned a motel on the

North Trail in Sarasota much like

Unus's (Furtner) family owned the

Southland Motel more central on the

trail that was only recently torn

down (the long vacant Holt Motel

had several names & still stands)

A snippet of memory: One night in the Cadillac, Jane Beatty recalled the Sarasota motel adventures, saying, "Boss, remember when they wanted us to invest in Sarasota and join everybody in the motel business?" To which Beatty grinned, "Yeah, and everybody lost their shirts."
