Dick Flint said...: I spent the winter of 1973-74 in Sarasota and there was a big buzz about this show taking on Ringling. Opposition in D.C. generated major publicity stunts by both shows, and the media gave huge coverage. Ward Hall added a big side show for Ringling. I think everyone was a big winner--except Circus American never did make further opposition stands against the Big One.
