From Chic Silber #1

Jerry Lewis is currently in Nashville as the director of a new

stage musical version of "The Nutty Professor" to open soon

The hope is for it to go to Broadway but so far there have

been no major NY power brokers involved as hoped for

He has always been a good "clown" but this recent photo

makes a very believable image for a youthful 86 year old

The score is by Marvin Hamlish & the book by Rupert Holmes

It will start performances on Tuesday & maybe Dave Price

could give us some insight (or an early storm warning)

Sawry. I stay as far away as possible from anything with Jerry Lewis.

Maybe you could just ask around

to those who don't get the rash

With or without Jerry this doesn't

seem very likely Dave

I wish someone would go and try to see him and ask him about the out takes from his Three Ring Circus film as Jerry owns all the rights and prints from all his movies.
And you know there is film not used in the movie that us fans would love to see as it is the Clyde Beatty railroad circus.
It does not hurt to ask all he he can say is yes or no.

Harry -

I think that Jerry only owned the films that he produced and directed AFTER the split with Dean. I think Hal Wallis was the producer on # Ring Circus. ~frank
