Doesn't look like a very big bear. Not as big as those that we had at CW Fl. They were fast moving too.
Albert & Jeannette Rix had a much
bigger polar bear named Horsey but
4 of Ursula's 10 polar bears were
TREMENDOUS & did that marvelous
march across the arena towering
over her diminutive form
Not really Chic,
Albert had a male named Orsen and yes he was an extremely large polar; However I spent a week plus visting Circus World during the time that they were building the polar pool and helping Ursela when she had a bit of a foot problem on a couple of her critters. The shoots she was using to shift the bears to and from the arena were on casters, no bottoms. The bears actually walked on the pavment.Three or four of her bears were sholder hight to me when going thru the shoot. Quite a bit larger than Albert's Orsen.Never the less their smaller female polars were larger than any thing I have messed with. The polar on the motorcycle was named Zero. I had cleaned her cage a few times when helping Eloise.
Thanks Jimmy for the correction
on the name Orsen but all the rest
seems just about right
Ursula's bears had foot problems
from when she 1st came to the Blue
two of the bears started fighting shifting through that chute at cw and started to stand up with chute on their backs. Quite exciting as we were waiting with the elephants to go past.
