Buckles & Chic: While Alfred Eisenstaedt was taking the shot Chic sent, Victor Jogensen was taking this one.
This second view, while not as striking as the first, has the advantage of showing more of Chic's midtown home for many years; the Paramount Building.

The Paramount Building from 1926

fortunately is "landmarked" & is

the only original edifice in the

area & the corner shown as Chem

Bank now has a Levi jeans joint

at street level & a Bubba Gump's

on the 2nd floor above it

The building is often seen on

"Good Morning America" as it is

directly across from the ABC studio

where the live show originates

Although I had been a frequent

visitor to several offices there

for much longer it surprises me

to realize that I have been a

tennant for more than 35 years

My front window is a great place
