This a second number with another male that Mack had added named "Mike".

Buckles, was Mike renamed later? Im trying to trace him to Circo Hermanos Fuentes Gasca (Circus Brothers Gasca) where obviously Louie and Stella went, after Stebbing? (That circus sold a bull elephant named Tami to Mendoza Zoo in 1984, where he sired a stillborn baby in 1988)

Joy Gärtner sent me a picture some 3 years ago, with Louie still performing, but castrated. Ill try to find the picture.

Tommy and Bobby Hines were the first of the circus guys to dress up their trucks with all the chrome and nice paint jobs thanks to Louie Stern !!

I recall my dad visiting Mac Mc Donald's place in San Antonio when the Pollack show elephant truck was new. It was the winter it pulled out of quarters in the 60's Sharp rig. Also sharp was the bull rig Herriott had from Baraboo and Diano's bull truck.
Bobby Hines did spend Stern's money well when it came to chrome toys. Bobby handed Tommy Donahoe the Red KW when he bought the newer KW. I might also add that this all took place after Tarzan had toured with the show that year with his rig.I will have to dig up the issue of Open Road that I have. It had a feature that year on the show trucks on the Pollack Bros tour.
