Gollmar-Norris & Rowe (1905) Morris, Mn In the summer of 1905 residents of the small town of Morris, Minnesota were treated to two rival circuses in a 24 hour period. On July 6 Norris and Rowe visited the town and on July 7 the Gollmar Bros put up its big top. In this photo you can see date sheets for both shows posted on a main thoroughfare. While Norris and Rowe would arrive first, the Gollmar's are urging residents to WAIT for their show the next day. (Circus World Museum, Robert L. Parkinson Library) Chris Berry
