On the subject of posters.

Gollmar-Norris & Rowe (1905) Morris, Mn

In the summer of 1905 residents of the small town of Morris, Minnesota were treated to two rival circuses in a 24 hour period. On July 6 Norris and Rowe visited the town and on July 7 the Gollmar Bros put up its big top. In this photo you can see date sheets for both shows posted on a main thoroughfare. While Norris and Rowe would arrive first, the Gollmar's are urging residents to WAIT for their show the next day.
