Got to visit with Tim Frisco and little "Hugo" . All elephant rolling stock has also made it's trip to the paint shop and looking ship shape.

Buckles how easy would it be for

the big girl to get over the rail

Is this more of a visual restraint

(I'm being serious for a change)

Just noticed the low voltage lines

that must be an added deterent

It looks about the same size as our pen sitting idle on the back forty.
I don,t remember any problems that way but then again we weren't home that much, worked pretty steady.

Maybe you could get some goats

to tend to the lawn & bring in

some loose change as a petting zoo

Chic,
Chest high like a horse pen. Yes, horse's could jump if so motivated, but why should they? Nothing is scaring them to flee and go over. Elephants on the other hand can't jump as athletically as a horse. Front end goes up fine, but they have a load of weight from their shoulders back to try to drag over the top. Their back end doesn't "jump" like a horses. Bull pens are usually taller, but that's to keep the bulls from climbing on the top rail, and while they balance there, snatch any idiot who happens to be standing to close. :) Bull elephants are incredibly "Gumby" like and amazingly "athletic" when they have an agenda and want to reach something. Giraffe can be contained behind a two ft. wide, one foot deep trench/moat.
