"Sidney" and "Wilma" were named after his daughters and others like "Katie", "Nellie", "Tessie", "Juno", "Mona", "Sadie", "Elsie", etc. some of which were still around when I was an adult. My dad continually lobbied to have one named after his raven haired lady and they eventually gave in.
