2012 Universoul Circus #1 (From Michael Newton-Brown)

It is the first stop on the new show tour, and our first time seeing Universoul. Sorry, my camera isn't better to get more shots of the acts. Outstanding moments: a Caribbean production featuring limbo and Trinidad stilt walkers, 8 young men in the most interesting hip hop contortionist act I've ever seen, Chinese martial arts, Russian vaulting act, two Chinese girls in a beautiful pas de deux air act on a rigging of two hoops connected at 45 degrees. The cat act began with Circle of Life from The Lion King. It was seven tigers. Same trainer presented a liberty act of camels, zebras, llamas, and ponies. The lighting music, and costumes were some of the best I've seen on a circus. This is not like any circus I've ever seen, and we had a great time.
