1963 Grotto Circus #19

Even adjusted for 2012 dollars, these concession prices are not too bad. But then again, you have to remember that, in 1963, most of the adults had memories of the Great Depression which undoubted influenced their spending habits, particularly for non-essentials like peanuts or popcorn. In order to get their trade, the prices had to be based in reality.

Now all you have to do is remove the cent sign and put a $ sign in the front to obtain current prices. ~frank
