Head Bros. Circus #1 (From Jerry Cash)

Buckles;

The first time I met Herbie was in 1996 at the Circus Model Builders convention in Baraboo. We were lucky to see his incredible Head Bros. Circus perform its one day stand. The show is a work of art. To watch the train arrive in the morning and unload and then to watch the set up was like stepping back in time.

Herbie will be missed not only for his art, but for the quality of person he was.

I've enclosed some pictures I shot that day. They don't do his creation justice, but I thought I might share them with those who might not have seen his show.

Between these pics and the video on Bob Clines web site, I can't think of a better memorial to this great man. Herb's show is certainly one of the best models I have ever seen. What a craftsman!

Do you know where this fantastic model circus is today?
