German Parliament Rejects Proposal To Restrict Circus

The German Parliament (Bundestag) rejected a motion filed by the Social
Democrat Party (SDP) to ban the keeping of certain species of animals,
including elephants, bears, giraffes, hippopotamuses, monkeys, and
rhinoceroses, in circuses in Germany.
